Ingredients

Approx. 750 g apples sliced into thin wedges in a greased pie dish.

175 g butter, melted, removed from the heat and left to cool for a few minutes.

200 ml Dansukker Granulated Cane Sugar
300 ml porridge oats
150 ml plain flour
1 tsp baking powder
50 ml Dansukker Light Syrup
2 tbsp cream

Instructions

Set the oven temperature to 175 °C.

Combine all the dry ingredients and stir in the melted butter. Add the syrup and cream and pour over the apples.

Bake for about 30 minutes, until the cake turns an attractive colour and crisps up. Serve with vanilla sauce or cream. This apple cake is very easy to make and absolutely delicious.
