Meatballs
Ingredients
1 onion, finely chopped
2 tsp Dansukker Light Muscovado Sugar
Butter or margarine
2 packet diced bacon
1 kg minced beef
1/2 kg minced pork
1 onion, grated
2-3 cold boiled potatoes, grated
3-4 garlic cloves, grated
2 egg yolks
2 tsp salt
Pinch white pepper
1/2 tsp black pepper
2 tsp dried thyme
Instructions
Mix the chopped onion with the sugar. Fry in butter or margarine in a frying pan. Allow to cool. Finely chop the diced bacon. Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and mix to a smooth paste. Roll into medium-sized meatballs. Fry in butter or margarine.
