Hot chocolate

Most of us have lovely memories of hot chocolate. Whether you're on a trip or sprawled on the sofa in front of a crackling fire, it's always delicious. Here are a few tips on how to spice up your hot chocolate.

  • 100 g dark chocolate
  • 400 ml milk
  • 200 ml cream
  • 2 tbsp Dansukker Light Muscovado Sugar
  • 1 tsp Dansukker Vanilla Sugar

Optional flavouring

  • 2 tsp cinnamon, ground + 1/2 chili, finely chopped
  • 200 g raspberries
  • 500-600 ml tequila

Optional decoration

  • Whipped cream
  • Mini-marshmallows
  • Chocolate buttons
  • Dansukker Organic Light Syrup
  • Ground cardamom/cinnamon/cocoa

Finely chop the chocolate. Heat the milk, cream, sugar and vanilla sugar in a saucepan.

Add the chocolate and optional flavouring. Heat over a medium heat and whisk until the chocolate has melted.

Pour the chocolate drink into two cups. Top with optional decoration.

A pinch of Light Muscovado Sugar gives an even rounder flavour!
