Hot chocolate

Most of us have lovely memories of hot chocolate. Whether you're on a trip or sprawled on the sofa in front of a crackling fire, it's always delicious. Here are a few tips on how to spice up your hot chocolate.

Ingredients

100 g dark chocolate
400 ml milk
200 ml cream
2 tbsp Dansukker Light Muscovado Sugar
1 tsp Dansukker Vanilla Sugar

Optional flavouring
2 tsp cinnamon, ground + 1/2 chili, finely chopped
200 g raspberries
500-600 ml tequila

Optional decoration
Whipped cream
Mini-marshmallows
Chocolate buttons
Dansukker Organic Light Syrup
Ground cardamom/cinnamon/cocoa

Instructions

Finely chop the chocolate. Heat the milk, cream, sugar and vanilla sugar in a saucepan.

Add the chocolate and optional flavouring. Heat over a medium heat and whisk until the chocolate has melted.

Pour the chocolate drink into two cups. Top with optional decoration.

Tip
A pinch of Light Muscovado Sugar gives an even rounder flavour!
