Gooseberry marmalade

Gooseberry marmalade is the perfect way to preserve the summer's gooseberry harvest. Use gooseberry marmalade at breakfast, or in a tart or pie.

Ingredients

500 g gooseberries
500 g Dansukker Jam Sugar
1 stick cinnamon

Instructions

Rinse the gooseberries and boil for around 3 minutes.

Mix the cooked gooseberries a quick with a mixer, to retain them in small pieces. Mix in the sugar and cinnamon stick. Boil for about 10 minutes.

Skim off any foam and pour into hot, thoroughly cleaned jars. Seal. Store in a cool place.
