French toast

Ingredients

2 eggs
50 ml milk
6 slices of any type of bread/ bread wreath
butter
45 g Dansukker Light Muscovado Sugar
45 g Dansukker Granulated Sugar
3 g ground cinnamon

Topping
200 ml whipping cream
homemade jam
Dansukker Light Syrup

Instructions

Whisk together the eggs and milk. Cut the bread into triangles.

Soak the bread in the egg mixture and fry on a high heat in a fry pan. Reduce the heat, and fry for a few minutes turning the triangles occasionally.

Meanwhile, combine the sugar and cinnamon on a plate.

Dip the bread in the sugar mixture and serve with cream and homemade jam, or drizzle with syrup.

Tip: French toast de luxe. Swap the bread with slices of wreaths or sourdough bread.
