Ingredients

650 g plain flour
50 ml Dansukker Light Syrup
5 g salt
20 g baking powder
5-10 g ground aniseed or other bread spice
500 ml water

Instructions

Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and mix to a smooth dough. Place the dough on a floured surface and shape it into a length. Cut the length into 12 pieces. Roll out or flatten each piece into a round about 15 cm in diameter.

Heat a frying pan to a medium heat and cook the cakes in it for 1-2 minutes on either side. Serve immediately while still warm.
