Ingredients

1 kg lingonberries (about 2 litres)
400 ml water
1 cinnamon stick
1 kg Dansukker Jam Sugar
100 ml Cognac

Instructions

Put the lingonberries, water and cinnamon stick in a saucepan, cover and simmer for 5 minutes.

Add the jam sugar and boil for a further 2-3 minutes. Remove from the heat and stir in the Cognac. Stir until the mixture has cooled, to prevent the berries from rising to the surface.

Pour into warm, thoroughly cleaned jars. Store in a cool place.
