Ingredients
420 g plain flour
15 g baking powder
10 g Dansukker Vanilla Sugar
4 g crushed cardamom
2 g salt
75 g butter, melted
250 ml milk
50 ml Dansukker White Baking Syrup
Filling
75 g butter, at room temperature
6 g cinnamon
5 g Dansukker Vanilla Sugar
35 g Dansukker Dry Brown Sugar
Glaze
1 egg
To decorate
Dansukker Nib Sugar
Instructions
Heat the oven to 225°C on the top and bottom heat setting. Stir together all the dry ingredients. Add the melted butter, milk and syrup and mix together to form a dough.
Roll out the dough into a thin rectangle. Mix together the ingredients for the filling and spread the mixture on the dough. Roll it up and cut it into buns around 2 cm across. Put the buns into bun tins, brush with beaten egg and sprinkle with nib sugar. Bake in the centre of the oven for about 10–12 minutes.
