Plum pie

A luscious plum pie with plenty of pastry underneath and on top. Fill it with delicious plums or your favourite berries or fruits. A summer classic!

Ingredients

200 g butter
90 g Dansukker Dry Brown Sugar
70 g Dansukker Light Syrup
210-240 g plain flour
70 g porridge oats
about 6-7 plums

Instructions

Set the oven temperature to 175°C with fan.

Grease a round pie dish, approx. 25 cm in diameter.

Melt the butter and add the sugar, syrup, flour and porridge oats. Allow to cool slightly.

Cover the tin with 2/3 of the pastry. Press out the pastry along the edges with floured hands.

Rinse the plums and remove the stones. Cut the plums into wedges and arrange them on the pastry. Crumble the remaining pastry over the top.

Bake at the centre of the oven for approx. 25 minutes. Serve with vanilla custard or ice cream.
