Ingredients

1 kg organic oranges
7 dl water
1 kg Dansukker Jam Sugar

Instructions

Delicious on toast or scones.

Wash the oranges thoroughly. Cut off the outer peel from two of the oranges and cut the peel into thin strips. Halve the oranges, put them in a saucepan and pour in the water. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes. Remove the oranges. Strain the liquid to remove any orange fragments. Clean the saucepan and pour the strained liquid back into it. Add the shredded peel and the jam sugar. Boil for 5 minutes. Skim off any scum. Pour into warm, sterilised jars. Seal. Store in a cool place.
