Ingredients

400 ml rye flour/wheat flour mix
400 ml plain flour
150 ml raisins
1 tbsp bicarbonate of soda
1 tbsp ground cumin
1 tbsp ground aniseed
1 tsp cinnamon
150 ml Dansukker Dark Syrup
500 ml soured milk

Instructions

Mix all dry ingredients in a bowl. Add syrup and soured milk and mix. Spoon the mixture into a greased muffin tray or double muffin cases. Bake in the centre of the oven at 175 °C for approx. 35 minutes. You can also pour the mixture into an oblong tray (2 litres) and bake for 90 minutes.
