Ingredients

100 g ground almonds
200 g butter or margarine
1 dl Dansukker Granulated Sugar
4 dl plain flour
1 tsp Dansukker Vanilla Sugar

Jam
2 kiwi fruits
1 dl Dansukker Jam Sugar

Icing
2 dl Dansukker Icing Sugar
2 tsp water

Instructions

Start by peeling and grating the kiwis. Combine the grated kiwi and jam sugar in a saucepan and boil for 3 minutes, stirring constantly. Skim off any foam. Allow to cool.

Quickly work together the pastry ingredients into a dough. Put the pastry in a plastic bag and leave to rest in the fridge for 1 hour. Divide the dough into four pieces. Shape into a sausage and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Make a small hollow in the middle of each sausage. Place a layer of jam in the hollow.

Bake in the centre of the oven at 175°C for 12-15 min. Cut the sausages into pieces while still warm. Allow to cool. Mix together the icing sugar and water and put the mixture in a piping bag. Pipe icing over the biscuits. Store in a dry, cool place.
