Ingredients

Juice of 2 oranges (about 200 ml)
500 ml red wine
500 ml mulled wine
3 sticks cinnamon
3 tbsp Dansukker Dark Muscovado Sugar
2 oranges, preferably uncoated
1/2 grapefruit, preferably uncoated
1/2 pomegranate
1/2 l mineral water
Ice
Garnish for the glass
Orange
2 tbsp Dansukker Granulated Sugar
1 tbsp ground cinnamon

Instructions

Squeeze the juice out of the oranges and pour into a jug. Pour in red wine, mulled wine, cinnamon sticks and Muscovado sugar.

Rinse and cut the oranges and grapefruit into slices and place them in the jug. Add the pomegranate seeds. Leave to stand for about 30 minutes.

Decorate the glasses by moistening the edges with an orange slice. Mix sugar and cinnamon on a plate and dip the glasses into the sugar mixture to create a sugar and cinnamon rim.

Pour the mineral water and ice into the jug of sangria just before serving. Pour the sangria into the glasses and serve.
