Whisk the egg yolks, sugar and vanilla sugar together until thick and fluffy.
Pour in the milk and flavour with brandy. Whisk until fluffy.
Pour into 4 glasses if serving chilled, or heat in a saucepan for a few minutes and then serve in a glass or mug. Spoon a little froth on top and sprinkle with cane sugar.
Tip. Try eggnog flavoured with limoncello instead of brandy.
