Red onion and chilli pickle

Red onion and chilli pickle is condiment that goes extremely well with most dishes. It is also very easy to make. A little luxury with Friday's dinner, or use your red onion and chilli pickle with hamburgers or tacos.

2 red onions
1 chilli
100 ml vinegar (12%)
180 g Dansukker Cane Sugar Granulated
300 ml water


Slice the red onions. Rinse and chop the chilli. Place in a thoroughly-cleaned jar.

Boil the vinegar, sugar and water until the sugar dissolves. Allow to cool slightly and then pour over the red onion and chilli. Refrigerate for about 1 hour.

Store in a cool place.
