Ingredients
Light dough
125 g wheat flour
100 g butter
50 g Dansukker Icing Sugar
1 small egg yolk
Dark dough
125 g wheat flour
50 g Dansukker Icing Sugar with Chocolate Taste
1 tsp Dansukker Vanilla Sugar
50 ml finely chopped almonds
1 small egg yolk
Instructions
Mix the ingredients for the light dough; flour, butter, icing sugar and egg. Mix the ingredients for the dark dough; flour, icing sugar with chocolate taste, vanilla sugar, almonds and egg. Place the doughs in the fridge for a few hours. Roll the doughs into sausages. Place one on top of the other, shape into a roll and place in the fridge for at least 1 hour. Cut 1/2 cm thick slices and place on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Bake in the middle of the oven at 200 °C for approx. 10 minutes.
You can also make thin strands from the two doughs, roll them together in pairs and shape them into crosses.
