Hot lingonberry salsa

1 shallot, halved and sliced
1-3 garlic cloves, grated
1/2 red chilli, deseeded, cut into thin strips
1/2 litre lingonberries, fresh and cleaned or frozen
3/4 dl water
2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
4 tbsp Dansukker SteviaSugar
1 tsp powdered paprika
1 pinch of ground cinnamon
1 pinch ground cloves
2 pinches of salt

Combine all the ingredients in a pan, cover and simmer for about 10 minutes. Allow to cool. Serve with game or beef.
