  • 1 bottle dry red wine
  • 1 piece fresh ginger (about 5 cm)
  • 2 sticks cinnamon
  • 10 whole cloves
  • peel and juice of 1 untreated orange
  • 90 g Dansukker Granulated Sugar
  • 70 g Dansukker White Syrup

Pour the wine into a saucepan and add the ginger, cinnamon, cloves and orange.
Heat carefully on a low heat and leave to stand for at least 20 minutes.
Add the sugar and syrup. Heat carefully until the sugar has dissolved.
Serve warm.
