Ingredients

175 g porridge oats
180 g plain flour
8 g baking powder
150 g Dansukker Brown Sugar
1 g salt
5 g cinnamon
2 g cardamom
2 g ground cloves
1 ½ tsp ground ginger
1 egg
1 ml sour milk
30 g melted butter or oil 

Instructions

Set the oven temperature to 225°C.

Combine all the dry ingredients in a bowl. Add the remaining ingredients and combine to make a dough. Put the dough on a floured worktop and divide into 4. Roll out to narrow strips. Place the strips on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake in the centre of the oven for about 13 minutes. Cut the strips into diagonal slices and place on the baking trays with the cut surface facing up. Bake for 10 minutes. Open the oven door slightly. Turn off the oven and leave the biscuits to dry for a few hours.
