French toast

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 50 ml milk
  • 6 slices of any type of bread/ bread wreath
  • butter
  • 45 g Dansukker Light Muscovado Sugar
  • 45 g Dansukker Granulated Sugar
  • 3 g ground cinnamon

Topping

  • 200 ml whipping cream
  • homemade jam
  • Dansukker Light Syrup

Whisk together the eggs and milk. Cut the bread into triangles.

Soak the bread in the egg mixture and fry on a high heat in a fry pan. Reduce the heat, and fry for a few minutes turning the triangles occasionally.

Meanwhile, combine the sugar and cinnamon on a plate.

Dip the bread in the sugar mixture and serve with cream and homemade jam, or drizzle with syrup.

Tip: French toast de luxe. Swap the bread with slices of wreaths or sourdough bread.
