Citrus marmalade

Ingredients

300 g untreated lemons
300 g untreated oranges
200 g untreated mandarins
200 g untreated lime
500 ml water
1 kg Dansukker Jam Sugar
50 ml whisky (optional)

Instructions

Wash the fruits thoroughly and peel. Cut the pith from the peel, then cut both the peel and the fruit into small pieces. Boil the peel, fruit and water under a lid for 15 minutes.

Add the jam sugar and boil for a few minutes. Remove the saucepan from the heat and skim. Stir in the whisky if desired. Pour the marmalade into warm jars.
