225 g grated cheddar cheese (or another cheese with a strong flavour)
225 g butter
240-300 g wheat flour
1 pinch paprika
4 tbsp Dansukker Brown Sugar
3 tbsp chopped nuts (possibly pecan nuts)

1. Set the oven at 175-200°C.

2. Mix the cheese and butter in a bowl or blender.

3. Add the flour and paprika. Stir thoroughly.

4. Shape the dough into rolls and place in the fridge for approx. 20 minutes.

5. Cut the rolls into slices and place on a greased baking tray. Sprinkle on the brown sugar and nuts.

6. Bake the carenco cheese canapés in the middle of the oven for approx. 8 minutes or until the rolls have coloured. Allow to cool.
