Ingredients
800 g pork ribs
50 g Dansukker Light Syrup
50 g seedless Dijon mustard
10 g garlic
5 g fresh thyme
40 g olive oil
4 bay leaves
2 g allspice
2 g cloves
50 g red onion
300 g red wine
50 g Dansukker Dark Syrup
50 g wine vinegar
Salt
Instructions
Clean the ribs of the membranes, put in a water, add bay leaves, allspice, cloves and salt, and cook until the bone easily separates from the meat.
Prepare the marinade: add to syrup Dijon mustard, olive oil, garlic and fresh thyme leaves. Put the cooked meat in a marinade for 2 hours, at least. Then gill or fry in a pan until it acquire a crisp crust.
Onion Confiti
Clean red onions, cut into rings and put in a saucepan. Pour over the red wine so that onions are fully immersed, bring to the boil and simmer for 1 hour. Add syrup and vinegar and simmer for another 20 minutes until ready.
