Mix together all the ingredients for the marinade in a bowl. Place the chicken wings in a thick plastic bag and pour in the marinade. Shake the bag so that the marinade coats all the wings. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours. Liquidise or finely chop the tomatoes. Mix in the syrup, parsley and garlic. Add salt to taste. Refrigerate to allow the flavours to develop. Grill the wings. Serve them with the sauce, pumpkin salad and bone bread.
