Raspberry Jamtini with lemon

Raspberry Jamtini with lemon

Makes 4 cocktails 15 minutes
Ingredients

200 ml raspberry jam, see basic recipe
70 g Dansukker White Syrup
Juice of 1 lemon
100 ml water
100 ml cranberry juice
Ice
Top with fruit soda or soda water
Lemon verbena (can be omitted if not available)
Lime slices


Combine all the ingredients in a jug and stir until everything is mixed well.
Add plenty of ice to 4 glasses, and pour the jamtini over the top.
Top with fruit soda or soda water.
Garnish with lemon verbena and lime slices.

Tip
For an alcoholic drink, add 40 ml vodka to each cocktail.

Strawberry Lemonade

Strawberry Lemonade

1 large jug – about 1-1.5 litres
Ingredients

2 lemons
1 lime
1/2 litre (about 250 grams) strawberries
200 ml Dansukker Organic Sugar
500-700 ml water
Ice


Clean and rinse the strawberries, extract the juice from the lemon and lime, and add everything to a large jug.

Add 100 ml water along with the sugar, and blend it all together using a hand blender.

Add ice and fill to the top with water. Stir.


Tip

Add lemon balm or mint.

Melon slush

Melon slush

6-8 glasses
Ingredients

1 watermelon, about 2 kg
Crushed ice
Juice of 2 limes
100 ml Dansukker Glucose Syrup
50-75 g Dansukker Superfine Sugar
Mineral water 


Peel and deseed the melon. Liquidise the melon with the ice, lime juice, syrup and sugar. Divide between four glasses filled with ice. Dilute with mineral water.

Iced tea with ginger

Iced tea with ginger

4 glasses
Ingredients

100 g fresh ginger, thinly sliced
1 1/2 litres water
2 tbsp green tea leaves
200 g Dansukker Cane Sugar Granulated
2 limes, thinly sliced


Combine the ginger, water and tea leaves in a saucepan and bring to the boil. Take the saucepan off the heat. Leave to stand for 10 minutes. Add the sugar and stir until dissolved. Strain and discard the ginger and tea leaves. Refrigerate until serving. Add the lime slices.

Fresh summer punch with strawberry syrup

Fresh summer punch with strawberry syrup

about 10 glasses
Ingredients

1 lemon
2 limes
2 nectarines
200 ml fresh raspberries
100 ml fresh blackberries
200 ml strawberries
100 ml strawberry syrup
2 litres fruit-flavored carbonated drink
Ice

Strawberry syrup
500 g strawberries
50 ml Dansukker Muscovado Syrup
100 ml Dansukker Granulated Sugar


Start with the strawberry syrup: Bring the strawberries and sugar to the boil, leave to boil for 5-10 min.

Strain through a fine-meshed sieve. Mix with the muscovado syrup.

Pour into sterilized bottles. Store in a cool place.

For the punch: Slice the lemon, limes and nectarines.

Place the ice in a bowl and cover with the fruit and berries. Pour over the fruit soda and strawberry syrup.

Summer mocktail

Summer mocktail

1 glass
Ingredients

15 ml freshly squeezed lime juice
10 g Dansukker Fructose
Lemon balm
Raspberries
Blueberries
Ice cubes
Soda water 


Mix the lime juice and fructose in a tall glass. Add two lemon balm leaves, some raspberries and blueberries and ice cubes. Top up with soda water.

The blueberries and raspberries can be replaced with other berries or fruits and the lemon balm can be replaced with mint.

Raspberry cordial

Raspberry cordial

Ingredients
2 kg (4 litres) raspberries
1 1/2 l water
Juice of 1 lemon
1 kg Dansukker Granulated Sugar

Rinse the raspberries. Boil them with the water for 5 minutes. Strain the mixture through a jelly cloth for 30 minutes. Clean the saucepan and pour the strained liquid back into it. Add the sugar and lemon juice. Simmer, constantly skimming off the scum, until the mixture is completely clear. Pour into warm, sterilised bottles. Seal. Store in a cool place. The raspberries can be replaced with any other fruit or berries.

For a special touch, add some fresh raspberries to the cordial before serving.

Lemonade

Lemonade

about 6 glasses
Ingredients

Juice of 4 limes (about 100 ml)
Juice of 4 lemons (about 250 ml)
Grated zest of 1 untreated orange
100 g Dansukker Granulated Sugar
Ice cubes
1000 ml mineral water


Combine the citrus juices and sugar in a jug and stir until the sugar dissolves. Add the orange peel, ice cubes and mineral water. Serve.

Summer smoothie

Summer smoothie

1 glass
Ingredients

75 g berries, e.g. raspberries, blueberries, strawberries
100 ml semi-skimmed milk
100 ml natural low-fat yoghurt
100 ml ice cubes
10 g Dansukker Icing Sugar


Liquidise all the ingredients in a blender until smooth. Pour into a glass.

Refreshing summer drink

Refreshing summer drink

6 glasses
Ingredients

3 tbsp Dansukker Granulated Sugar
Juice of 2 lemons
Ice cubes, crushed
1 dl concentrated elderflower cordial
1 l mineral water 


Combine the citrus juices and sugar in a jug and stir until the sugar dissolves. Add the crushed ice and top up with the mineral water. Serve immediately. Also good served warm, or as an alcohol-free “dessert wine”.

Blackberry shake

Blackberry shake

1 glass
Ingredients

150 g blackberries
200 ml milk
40 g vanilla ice cream
1 tsp Dansukker Vanilla Sugar
1 tbsp Dansukker Icing Sugar


Blend the berries, milk, ice cream, vanilla sugar and icing sugar, sieve the mixture and pour into a glass. Garnish with berries on a cocktail stick.

Iced coffee with ice cream

Iced coffee with ice cream

4 glasses
Ingredients

Ice cubes
600 ml milk
15 g cocoa powder
50 ml Dansukker Cane Sugar Syrup
200 ml cold espresso coffee

Decoration
Vanilla or chocolate ice cream 


Lightly crush the ice and put it in four tall glasses. Mix together the milk, cocoa powder, syrup and coffee and pour into the glasses. Top each glass with a spoonful of ice cream. Serve immediately.
