Time for citrus
Is there anything better than to start the morning with homemade marmalade on your toast. Let the season's citrus fruits inspire you. If you use our jam sugar, you can make your own marmalade in minutes.
Below are recipes for Orange and ginger marmalade, Jamaica Marmalade, Four fruit marmalade, Orange and chocolate marmalade, Mixed fruit marmalade, Orange jelly, Lemon curd, Pomelo and orange marmalade and Lime marmalade.

Orange and ginger marmalade
Ingredients
1 kg oranges
½ dl fresh ginger, grated
1 kg Dansukker Jam Sugar
Wash the oranges thoroughly. Cut off the outer peel, and cut the peel into thin strips. Divide the oranges in two and juice them. Measure the juice and make up to 8 dl with water. Mix the juice, peel and ginger in a pan and boil for 5 minutes. Add the jam sugar and boil for 3 minutes, stirring constantly. Skim off any scum. Pour the marmalade into warm, sterilised jars. Seal. Store in a cool place.

Jamaica Marmalade
Ingredients
1 ½ kg oranges
4 dl water
3 dl rum
3 dl Dansukker Muscovado Sugar
1 kg Dansukker Jam Sugar
Wash the oranges thoroughly. Cut each orange into eight boats and slice each boat thinly. Put the oranges pieces in a pan with the water, and cover and simmer for 15 minutes. Add the rum and both types of sugar and boil for 3 minutes, stirring constantly. Skim off any scum. Pour into warm, sterilised jars. Seal. Store in a cool place.

Four fruit marmalade
Ingredients
1 red grapefruit
2 oranges
2 lemons
2 limes
5 dl water
1 kg Dansukker Jam Sugar
Wash the fruit thoroughly. Cut off the outer peel, and cut the peel into thin strips. Remove all the pith from the peel. Chop the fruit into small pieces. Mix the peel and chopped fruit in a pan with the water, and cover and simmer for 10 minutes. Add the jam sugar and boil for 3 minutes, stirring constantly. Skim off any scum. Pour the marmalade into warm, sterilised jars. Seal. Store in a cool place.

Orange and chocolate marmalade
Ingredients
1 kg oranges
Juice and rind of 1 lime
75 g white chocolate, grated
4 tbsp Cointreau
5 dl Dansukker Jam Sugar
2 tbsp finely chopped hazelnuts
Peel and segment the oranges. Put the orange slices, lime rind and juice in a pan, cover and simmer for 10 minutes. Add the chocolate, liqueur, and jam sugar and boil for 3 minutes, stirring constantly. Stir in the finely chopped hazelnuts. Skim off any scum. Pour the marmalade into warm, sterilised jars. Seal. Store in a cool place.

Ingredients
400 g red grapefruit
400 g oranges
200 g star fruit
100 g kumquats
2 dl water
2 tbsp Dan
