Surprise your friends and family with delicious drinks this Easter. Why not offer up a refreshing Piggelin before Easter lunch, or a warming Chocolate toddy after a long walk? For those who prefer something non-alcoholic, we recommend a thirst-quenching lassi.

 

 

 
 
Rum toddy

Rum toddy


4 glasses

 

Ingredients

8 egg yolks
4 tbsp Dansukker Cane Syrup
1 tbsp cocoa powder
1 tsp Dansukker Vanilla Sugar Fairtrade
12 cl rum
8 dl hot milk 

 

 

Beat the eggs with the syrup, cocoa and vanilla sugar until very fluffy. Stir in the rum. Pour into four glasses. Stir in the hot milk, drink and enjoy.

 

 

 
 
Warm caipirinha

Warm caipirinha


4 glasses

 

Ingredients

4 limes
4 tbsp Dansukker Cane Sugar
16 cl cachaça or rum
Hot water

 

 

Wash the limes thoroughly, cut them into wedges or pieces and divide between four glasses. Add a tablespoon of cane sugar to each glass Press the juice from the limes with a muddler or pestle. Add the alcohol and stir. Top up with hot water.

To make cold caipirinha, use ice cubes instead of hot water.

 

 

 
 
Chocolate toddy

Chocolate toddy


4 glasses

 

Ingredients

4 dl strong freshly brewed coffee
4 dl milk
100 g dark chocolate
4 tbsp Dansukker Soft Brown Sugar
1 tbsp Dansukker Vanilla Sugar Fairtrade
12 cl cognac

 

To decorate
1 ½ dl whipping cream
2 tbsp Dansukker Cane Syrup 

 

 

Heat the coffee and milk in a pan. Add the chocolate and stir until it melts. Add the brown sugar and vanilla sugar. Whip the cream until it forms soft peaks. Divide the cognac between four glasses. Pour the chocolate mixture over the top. Top with a spoonful of cream and drizzle with a little syrup<
